Micah: How does your recommended "The Purpose of a Higher Education" response pertain to the CGU Teacher Education Internship in Social Sciences? |
Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
The CGU Teacher Education Internship in the Social Sciences is not worth it. The Coordinator and Director of the program are best to retire as soon as possible. This expensive program is antiquated and out of touch with what students need to exceed in California Public Schools as Credential teachers. There is a lack of transparency and in fact an elite secrecy as to how student teachers are protected from Public School Master Teachers and Principals. There is an arrogance and elitism within this program that has not been effectively evaluated.
