Like so many other Iona posters on this board, I won't be returning to Iona College. I'm completing my first year, and transferring to a campus that is in the 21st Century.

Iona didn't "Move My World" - to me - many staff just stay at Iona because they are comfortable, and it's just a job for them. The turn over is high - and the entire campus life, lacks, life.

New Rochelle is boring and so is Iona. I did have some great tenured professors teach me, but it's not enough.

Iona's campus is nice, and I felt safe there, but there is nothing to do. They just don't offer a campus life at Iona. I went to the Academic Support Department to get assistance with a core subject, and the atmosphere was cold, and unfriendly. No-one in that department really cared. There was no one sitting at the Reception Desk - to greet the students or guests. As a student, paying so much money, it was very upsetting not to get help, and no-one really cared. I went on-line to get tutoring.

The campus is nice, but support at Iona is lacking, and Management doesn't seem to care about many departments, other than Athletics.

Like other posters mentioned, my friends are leaving to. My friends are also not happy with students support services, campus-life, majors that are offered …

Iona isn't moving any world for any of us.
