Goucher College

Bottom line is Goucher isn't great at all. Quite frankly, it has no name. Sure some people will argue that, but do you really think Goucher is more known than other in-state schools like UMD, Hopkins, Towson, Loyola, etc? HELL no. You will get laughed at in job interviews, when you're competing against kids from these other schools. There's people who have lived in maryland their entire life and never even heard of goucher, and if they have they know it's a weirdo school.

The only reason you should come here is if you're getting a good scholarship to come here. Other than that, don't bother. If you were at all normal and had a great social life in highschool, DO NOT COME HERE.

Imagine if every weirdo in highschool got together and made a college. This is what it would be. Everyday feels like a competition to be weirder than everyone else, honestly it's downright cringe.

I'd say maybe 20% of the people here are normal. Mostly comprised of athletes. The other few normal kids end up transferring out to state schools.

My final advice is this: If you come here and don't like it within your first 4-6 weeks, transfer out immediately.

Lots of people(the normal ones) transfer out.
