University of the Incarnate Word

I was accepted to UIW on a scholarship. The only reason I went there instead of St. Mary's is because my brother went to St. Mary's. I came here with such optimism, but one thing I learned very fast is you do not matter if you do not have money. All they want is your money. No one here has school pride because there is nothing to really be proud of. If you walk around campus, you will notice students wear shirts and sweaters from bigger schools. Hardly anyone wears UIW apparel. The administration is rude and the students are very, very stuck up. The students are also a bunch of morons or half-way athletes. Anyone can get in to school here if they can pay.

I made the mistake of trying to work for them after I graduated, which was a big mistake. They ask you to donate money back to the school you work for. The HR department is the worst. Very unhelpful and very, very rude.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone nor am I a proud alumnus. I regret coming here to spend my college years.
