Do research on different schools to know what options are out there for your major. I struggled my first semester with no support from the college and then I was up and down with my financial aid percentage. I was lost on how to get support for my stuggles and now I can't complete what I started having 27 credits unless I pay out of pocket. I am a single mother to 4 young kids & unemployed due to dealing with post partum depression/major depressive disorder & anxiety. Plus dealing with a death of my Grandmother & the behavior disorders my son has. Now I am in recovery & am ready to go back to finish & be successful but I can't due to the college not listening or being helpful. I started in 2012. The math I struggled with that led me to having repeat the math & it going towards my hours attempted. The prices of the college are the best rates compared to other state/city colleges but it's still a barrier if there's no finances available to go back. It'd be nice for the liw-income struggled students to have options to complete the degree they started. Taken development courses first would've been helpful. Thanks for the non support on looking at my good/bad struggles Stark State College as well as dening my appeal with the prove from a medical doctor stating my diagnosed depression with being in recovery mentioned above.
