Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
When I was first introduced to King University and the communication program, I was blown away by what was offered. Some of the aspects that intrigued me about the communication program involved flexible hours, adult friendliness, and financial access. Being an adult student at King is why I chose King in the first place. The flexibility of learning is beneficial to those with jobs and allows students to continue their lives while also striving for a higher level of learning. The representative who introduced me to King described what is best about the communication program. He was not just doing what was required of him but was going above and beyond to make sure that every student had an opportunity to become apart of the King family.

That leads me into my second point about the faculty at King and especially the professors involved in the communication program. What separates the communication program from other institutions is the willingness of the professors to care about the students more than who they are. The professors truly have each student?s best interests at heart. They want to connect on a personal level and want to see each student succeed.

What exactly separates the communication program at King from the rest? As previously mentioned, flexible hours, adult friendliness, and financial access are positives about King. Even more so, education quality, academic success, faculty accessibility, and resource availability are what separate the communication program at King from the rest. The communication program offers a superb education experience for life after college. King truly prepares each student for the workforce and the many endeavors they will experience. A great number of students at King find jobs after graduating, and the faculty in the communication program do a great job of helping students find opportunities within the workforce. As mentioned previously, the professors go above and beyond to connect with each student. and I feel this experience is what makes the professors so accessible and student friendly. The professors care about their students and that makes the biggest difference in my opinion. Lastly, the resources at King are phenomenal. Writing centers, tutors, and the professors themselves do a great job of helping students with their assignments. They give each student the opportunity to feel that when they leave King, they took advantage of their education and can make the most of their experiences in their future endeavors.
