This school is a… disaster.

The courses - the courses are what you would expect out of a college that lacks any kind of soul. Boring, uninspired, and lazy. The "professors" if you're lucky enough to even get someone with a PHD or doctorate at that, teaching your course are usually going to be burnt out unimaginative, teach by power point losers. Or if you are an art major like myself… I'm getting annoyed just writing about these people… DONT COME HERE. SPEND YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING ELSE GO LIT ANYWHERE ELSE PLEASE!!!

  • on campus living: nightmare, if you HAVE to come to UNLV, do anything you can to avoid having to live on campus. The dining commons serves the most vile disgusting food on earth, under pays the food service staff, all while charging up the ass for food that is best described as
slightly better than public school cafeteria slop.
  • The dorms are filthy, black mold in the showers, cramped, and only one dorm building has a community kitchen, all the other dorms have nothing so you they can essentially force your hand to buy the meal plan. They reek of weed, my dorm hall even had a few drug dealers on it, of which the police got involved.
Off campus living "the U district" as it's called isn't much better. I'm currently staying in the degree, which is billed as a more "high end option" which I guess compared to the dorms is atleast somewhat true. But there's not a day that goes by where the police aren't coming into the building to break up a fight, party or some other misc BS.

  • area surrounding: while the campus atleast on the outside of its appearance is nice, because it's had millions of dollars pumped into it by the gambling industry that keeps this city from not being a ghost town. The immediate surroundings of the campus, are a hellish nightmare of poverty and the consequences of said gambling industry… sorry "gaming industy" if you have played the game cyberpunk 2077, imagine that to a T! Just without the cybernetic enhancements and cool architecture.
  • THIS PLACE IS HELL DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALYE YOUR LIFE.
