Baylor University is a first-class. The university is diligent about bringing in top speakers and entertainersto campus. Professors are some of the best to be found and often get to know students personally. BU has constistently made improvements to the campus and is one of the most beautiful universities in Texas. As I remember and continue to hear from students today, Baylor is a very friendly campus. Students spend many hours volunteering each semester and their services are valued by the locals. Students graduating from the university usually have an edge in employment opportunities. Even though most students are involved on campus on the weekends, Waco has numerous nice restaurants and students generally find plenty of things to do. The new warehouse district near the Brazos River is especially nice and not too far from campus. Waco is centrally located which allows an easy drive to nearby larger cities such as Austin and Dallas. Statistics show a high percentage of entering freshman stay to graduate at Baylor and many students come from families who also attended the university.
