Major: Accounting (This Major's Salary over time)
OSU was not my first choice, but it ended up being the best choice. Now, 25 years later as an alumni I really value my OSU education. I was fortunate to have some very good professors that took an interest in my sucess. OSU prepared me well for a career in the accounting and Finance Profession. The "Ivy's" and prestigious name brand liberal arts schools will have prospective students believe that your ticket to sucess is to "get in" to their school. I have found that none of that really matters once you are in the real world. I have had a very good career getting a job right out of college and staying employed through all of the ups and downs of the economy over the past 25 years. Now I am in an executive level finance and accounting position making $500,000+ with an OSU degree. Most Ivy league grads would love to be in that position, in fact I have a few working for me now.
