Warning - DO NOT ATTEND THIS UNIVERSITY IF YOU ARE A FRESHMAN COMING OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. The admissions department gives false information about the school being accredited (they are not) and if you decide to leave your credits will not transfer to any other university. The instructors appear to believe that you have had years of design experience before entering this university. We were told that they would prefer you coming with less experience so the instructors can "mold" you and teach you their ways.

The school is now regionally with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) the same as Berkley and UCLA etc…

This review is pretty much right. While the university is now fully accredited, it's true that you CANNOT TRANSFER your classes to another college. I have 4 friends who had to start over after taking classes at AAU. The school basically wants us to stick with them for 4 full years.

I haven't even last a semester here but I'm positive of withdrawing from AAU this December.
