When I first got into Sacred Heart I didn't want to go because frankly, it wasn't well known. To me that was important at the time. Now, well now I don't want to leave. I would never dream of transferring. It's such a great environment. I feel it's small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed but large enough that you can still meet new people all the time. The small size means smaller classes, which means more attention from teachers [good or bad depending on who you are ;)] Overall, it's not the best school…yes there are drawbacks…but you're going to find disadvantages and disappointments anywhere you go. Nothing and nowhere is perfect. But this school really tries its hardest to make you feel accepted, wanted, intelligent, and to make sure you have a fantastic time outside of the classroom. Oh, last thing…if you are offered to enroll in the Honors Program…do it. It's not a significant amount of work (in fact I think I often have less work than many of my others friends) and the perks are great (eg: they pay for airfare if you choose to study abroad).
