Be prepared to learn on your own. Instructors read from their notes that you buy from the book store, very little if any teaching is added during lecture. Lecture time can be better spent studying on your own. The average class scores are extremely low. This says more about the instructors and the program than it does about the students. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for". CSCC is the cheapest college in the area but don't let price determine whether you attend this college or not. Interview current students at any college that you want to attend to get an idea of what to expect from their program. I sincerely wish I had.
