I agree! |
I couldn't agree more. Not only are you just a paycheck, but that goes to pathetic professors, and administrators who ignore concerns. The housing department is also a joke. All of this is even evident when you attend graduation. Don't invite your family, you'll be embarrassed. It's held at 10 am the day after your last final. They shuffle everyone through and don't even bother to have a speaker. I regret attendiing, and should have followed my sister to UF, a real university. |
Major: History/Histories (art history/etc.) (This Major's Salary over time)
The campus is hideous everything looks the same concrete 70s' style building. The buildings aren't listed well, and the online maps are awful. The fact that I even get to my classes is a miracle. The staff is unfriendly. The stairways are smelly and cold; as are the class rooms. There is geese poo everywhere. Parking is atrocious. But the MOST frustrating thing about this school is that all I am is another paycheck to this school. I don't feel connected because all they want is my money and don't care about me graduating. They tell me to take 4 classes a semester so that it will take me at LEAST 5 years to graduate, all so they can slowly rack up more money from me. They want to charge me $1.25 for a bag when I buy my books from them. Half the kids don't realize what they are doing until its their 2nd year of being a senior and the other half are adults just coming back to school. Most of the people I have talked to have agreed that this school is bad, but the man i met (who is coming back to be a teacher) said it best, "This school is just a glorified community college!"
