Overall, I had a wonderful experience at UNF! I worked heavily in several organizations. I also maintained two wonderful internships while going to school full time. I highly advise every student to take advantage of the school's excellent study abroad opportunities!!!!

So what's my largest problem???? I graduated in 2008 and have yet to find employment. I feel that I have been completely forgotten about as an alumni. Though I have gained an excellent work ethic, I was ill prepared to deal with such a LONG period of unemployment. And there are quite of few other graduates in my same situation! I am now looking for a business school (outside the state of Florida). Good Luck.

Super Brilliant
I loved this school, and am proud to be an alumni! I had some of the very best professors as a student in the college of health! The nutrition program was made up of a great group of students, and we were all close by the end of our 4 years! It is still a growing school, and many of the students are commuters. That is the only negative aspect as far as i'm concerned. The University emphasizes community involvement and presents many opportunities for "real-world" experience. Go Ospreys!!!!!

Average
I attended UNF during the summer of 2008 and had an amazing time. partying non stop, classes were a joke (only took 2) and were incredibly easy. i only had a couple friends but had alot of fun. i had the best time of my life. fall was completely different. never any good parties. the clubs were always deserted. groups of friends come together to unf from wherever they grew up together for the past 18 years. so it was really hard to find a new group of friends. people were nice to my face and would say they wanted to hang out then completely ignore me. (and my roommate) my classes had 150+ kids. my stats teacher barely spoke english. i was really struggling because of how terribly the teachers taught. im more of a hands-on person and can really learn when the teacher incorporates humor and breaks everything down. teachers here just lecture for 90min and thats it. i ended up dropping out with all fs and moving back home. however, i loved the beach. thats pretty much it though.

U.N.F. went from 5th best value college to 45th in one year. by next year it will not be on The Princeton Review. for any student wishing to pursue a degree that is not in Engineering or Business I URGE you to not come here. Many people will tell you that it is a wonderful school. I say they are Wrong. U.N.F. is in the process of building several new facilities, to afford this they cut over half of the social sciences and raised tuition. There is no part of the school that is above average. The Faculty and Staff do not care about student's opinions who are not in a fraternity. The on campus dining facilities get a minimum of 3 health code violations each every year. DO NOT COME TO THIS COLLEGE!
