Hey thanks for your review, i found it very helpful because i am strongly considering going into biology. i have a few questions that i was hoping you might be able to answer for me… what did the other science majors think? is this a universal opinion? how did you do in high school science? (ap chem? ap bio? exam grades?) were your professors helpful or understanding of the difficult situation you were in? is there anything worth applying for? ok, well thank you and good luck at your new school! |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a biology student, and I transfered away from Cornell because the One-Course-at-a-Time DOES NOT work for science majors. I worked day and night to get As and found myself sick all the time due to the stress and number of hours required to be sucessful. I never really learned anything because the whole class is a huge cram session. When I started taking classes at my new school, I did not remember a thing I had learned at Cornell. Besides this, there is no social life at Cornell unless you join a Greek organization. The town is tiny and the only thing to do is go to the bars.Don't waste your money.
