After looking at many of the reviews for HWS, the same reoccurring theme seems to be present, Rich/Snobby kids. After completing my first year at HWS I have met a lot of rich kids, yet none of them have been snobby or arrogant towards me or anyone else I know. Anywhere you go you are going to get rich kids wearing sperry loafers and brooks brothers shirts, but this doesnt mean that they are arrogant in any way. Everyone on campus is extremely nice, making the transition from high school to college extremely easy. On a different note, the campus is beautiful, the site of Seneca lake never gets old as well as Coxe Hall (Main Building). The teachers are very nice and always make themselves available to you via email or personal number. Class sizes are small for personalized attention. Every classroom has a wireless connection which is also very nice.

Sports at HWS are very competitive for the size of the school, the football games, hockey games, and lacrosse games are very big at HWS. Of course they do not compare to a big university, but like I said, for the size of the school HWS is very competitive in almost every sport and the games are fun to watch. The weather at HWS is pretty crazy and takes time getting use to. The winters are long and cold so this is something to get use to. Yet when the weather is nice in Geneva, it makes up for the crap winter. On a nice day you will see 50% of the student body relaxing/drinking/playing games on the quad, which is alot of fun! The food in the dining hall tends to be pretty good but gets repetitive, however the food at the cafe is very good. The cafe offers quesidillas, tacos, taco salads, burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, and more. Having a car as a freshmen is nice, but is not a necessity because everything ic close to campus. Lastly, the parties at HWS vary every weekend, sometimes they are insane, other times the weekend can be dead. The frats always let everyone in and drinks are always free which is a big plus I cant remember the last time i paid at HWS. Hope this review helps afor you prospective students.
