There is such bad comments about this school and I am not sure why. I have only been here almost a year. I transferred from a state school because I did not like it. I came here to the city and I love it. I work for the school as work study and have met so much of the faculty in my department and have already built relationships up with my professors. I am always writing up career opportunity fliers so I don't understand how everyone is saying the school won't help you get a job. My advisor already promised me an internship next year, when I will only be a Junior! I live on campus at Clark residence halls and I love it there. Everyone there said it was boring, but I have not had one boring week yet. It is not a party school, I came from one and it is not all it's hyped up to be. If you can be bored living in New York City, you are going to be bored everywhere. You have to go out and do things for yourself. Meet people, actually do your school work, get a part time job, do something, and you will have fun. I like it and I can't believe all the negative feedback the school is getting. By the way, the dorms are amazing! You live in a hotel basically, it used to be one. Its gorgeous and so roomy! I think the negative feedback may be from the Old Westbury NYIT campus, I myself did not like it there when I went to visit. Thats why I'm in Manhattan. :-)
