For first year students, no matter what college they are in, do we get to choose our classes at all, or do they assign all the classes? any say at all? |
Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I tend to agree with the entry below mine by the first year male who transferred. However, I strongly believe an education at St. John's is what you make of it. With a degree from SJU you will find many doors opening for you around the work place simply because your co-workers or boss is an alumni of SJU. People are starting to realize the decline in the student body makeup however. If the admissions department would just up their standards a bit, I think St. John's could be back to the way it was in the past. Parking is a problem but I think that would be the case with any commuter school, not just SJU. Dorms are a problem because of the students. The dorms themselves are beautiful. Usually too much construction going on to make you actually want to stay on campus any longer than you have to though. It's a good catholic school with it's ups and it's downs. Consider it, but it's not for everyone.
