Well, south has some bright side and darkAverageChemical Engineering
Well, south has some bright side and dark side, education wise talking about my major (Chemical Engineering) the department here is so good, professors/faculty are very helpful and respectful, and simply if you study and do your homework with (understanding) you will be able to make some good grades, professors usually scale up at the end of the semester if needed except for a few courses, the department here is kinda small, so you get a better attention. In general I would recommend that you take the general classes at a community college, its cheaper and easer I think! Students have different opinions about the general classes, calc, chemistry, physics..etc. I cannot tell you much about it since i have not taken any of those classes here, however if you decide to come here as a freshman you should know whom you are taking those classes with, don't just pick a random name (it makes a big difference). Finally, it could be true that you sometimes feel like you are treated like a number or a dollar bill, so don't be surprised.

Question
The administration seems very concerned about how muchAverage
The administration seems very concerned about how much money it can get out of students. For everything there is a fee. While tuition maybe considered reasonable, you have to add on a fee for everything. The food in the cafeteria is horrible even though they have built a new facility. So many campuses have improved their food, but not USA. The dorms are very rundown although they are building new ones. Safety is a big concern on this campus, even more so than others. Not a great buy for your money overall.

Question
Transferring to USA from a University in Louisiana,BrightGeography and Geosciences
Transferring to USA from a University in Louisiana, I expected the transfer to be difficult. However, thanks to a lady in the Registrar's Office it was practically seamless. I attended 2 large Unis in La, so I would like to say that USA is the best experience I have had by far. USA is a southern school that offers a student a really cool combination of college life experiences and challenging academics. There is always something to do whether on campus, in Mobile, or on the beaches. Out of state tuition is pricy, but I believe it was worth the cost to come here. I will be graduating soon, and I am proud of my degree from USA. The campus looks really nice, too.
