Positive Negative Neutral Advice
GCU is to good to be true! EverythingSuper BrilliantAccounting
GCU is to good to be true! Everything is good in the begining but when you are deep in the process its when all the negative starts. If you where awarded a pell grant from FAFSA they do not give it to you what they do is give you the loan that you applied for and if you fail a class you you have to take it again and pay for it again how rediculous is that. And they send you that loan the check but you have to send it back dont even waste it. So you can even withdraw from a class you have to complete your 12 units they tell you in order to get financial aid. Its better to do a 8 month program like UEI and all those short term school or even better go to a community college for best resulst. One class cost almost $2,000.00. How reduiculous. My experience will and has left me with depression and anxiety. I will end up owing alot.

Question
GCU is a privateQuite BrightAccounting
GCU is a private for-profit school, one would think the instructors would be at least low quality. GCU hires the worst instructors and some of which have questionable English skills. You pay top dollar here for garbage.

Question
I had knowledgeable, concerned faculty for the mostAccounting
I had knowledgeable, concerned faculty for the most part. I felt I learned a lot from them. My Military Affairs Counselor has been very helpful.

However, my records show that I withdrew from GCU on May 3, although my transcript shows my last class finishing June 27(which is correct). This error has caused my student loans to become due two months sooner than they are actually due. GCU has not corrected this problem in spite of efforts by me and my Military Affairs Counselor. Ironically, if someone calls to verify if I graduated, GCU states I have completed the course work but not completed an application for graduation. While attending GCU my Academic Counselors rarely responded at all to my many concerns. I actually took a class where the software was not compatible with Windows XP.GCU's error regarding my correct date of graduation might affect my credit rating in the near future. Their ambiguous reply regarding my graduation may be affecting my job search. To state that I am extremely unhappy is an understatement.
