Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I am attending Anthem College Online.BrightOther
I am attending Anthem College Online. I thought that I made a good decision when choosing this school. I am in my fourth class, and I am highly irritated to say the least. I am trying to attain an Associate's Degree in Medical Billing & Coding. Our courses are only 4 weeks long, and then we have 1 week off. I do not feel like I am learning anything. The instructor's SUCK!!!! I feel like I have made a horrible mistake that I can not get out of. I am stuck with this shitty school until I graduate. I have had to chase everyone down and get nasty with them in order to get help from them. Everytime I ask someone who should know what the hell is going on, they tell me they do not know and they transfer me to someone else who does the same crap. I do not feel that this school is worth $23,000 for a degree. You are left at home stressing out because the instructor's make our homework more difficult than it has to be! Our homework and exams are open book, and I swear I really believe the instructor's try to trick you when you are trying to give the correct answer. Unless you have an online buddy who has passed the class, you won't do so hot!God forbid that you might ask one of the instructor's for their help. They act like you have NO right to ask them. When they do reply, it's a smart ass answer and most of the time they never answer your question to begin with. I hate this school and I wish I had never joined. Now, I have found out that this school is on probation because the accredidation people are finding this school not qualified to be accredited! These assholes do not tell us this when we are deciding on joining their school. If they had of told me this back in June, I would have went elsewhere! There isn't much I can do except continue to attend, and hope that things work out for myself and the other students. As of today, I have a 4.0 GPA and I work hard to keep my grades up. I do not have the luxury that most students have. I work full-time and I am attending full-time classes. My parent's are not paying for this, the gov't won't help with any of the tuition, and I am not able to stay at home while attending school. It's hard on all of the student's at this school. Most of them that I talk to feel the same way. Something should be done, but what can you do? In a way, I hope this school loses it's accredidation once and for all. That way future student's will be spared the nightmare of what I have been going through. My only advice to other student's is to PLEASE look elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This school is a rip off if I have ever seen one!!!

Question
HTI in Minnesota has a great massage clinic,Quite BrightPhysical Therapy/Exercise Science
HTI in Minnesota has a great massage clinic, it is run smoothly and professionally, however, the current teacher for third and fourth session is an incompetent massage therapist, and a defensive instructor. Many students once loved learning and coming to class on time and staying the entire session, but now half the class attends and there is a general vibe of fear towards the instructor. He gives off inapropriate comments, and creepy glances during lab when many of his students are naked on the massage table. He becomes severely defensive when asked to explain the lecture notes he is reading off verbatum. The fact is, he does not understand the Human body at the level that HTI expected him to know when he accepted the position of instructor. My only motivation is to gratuate as soon as possible and get a few years of experience and become a better teacher then he ever was. My motivation is to save other meek and quiet students from ever having to put up with a instructor like this.

My school have too many rules that most students don't even like. Students instead, just follow their own minds and ignore all of the rules that the school board provide for them.
