On the downside, I have heard a lot of rumours/facts a/ the school when I got there, which was something I should've researched. However, I have to give an F for housing. I honestly wasn't taken care of--and I wasn't taken seriously. That street in particular isn't safe at all! It can really do something mentally to students, which is why some of them rebel! I definately feel ripped off. I think that's a huge issue that shouldn't have been ignored when the new campus was built. Even after graduating, there's still a lot of stories I keep from my parents to prevent anymore damage that's already been done.
I also feel that students at that school are sometimes treated like kids. I realize that there are young students coming in, but there are a lot of mature students coming in as well. Sometimes, it has to take a parent for people to take the students seriously, which is wrong. This is a college! A lot of areas are extremely disorganized too! I think students who are still there should voice more of their opinions w/o feeling intimidated. Great program, but I sometimes find myself embarrased by promoting it. It's a shame it's at risk of losing credibility because of the way things are run there. My advice is to wait 10 years before sending someone. It needs a lot of improvement.
