Positive Negative Neutral Advice
On campus living is extremely expensive however notQuite BrightEconomics
On campus living is extremely expensive however not worth it. There tends to be a large amount of mold in the rooms. I have on multiple occasions found roaches in and near my room in the Otis Moss (East) Morehouse Suites & I live on the third floor. The worst part about the campus living has to be the campus police. There are a large amount of robberies that continually take place on and around campus & even in the student dorms, however there is never anything done about the situations. The campus police tend to be more concerned about minute things involving students such as getting students in trouble for having females in dorms after visitation hours & having students arrested for petty things. There are many drug dealers (possessing illegal weapons and narcotics) that live on the same street and even in the Otis Moss Morehouse Suites and there is never anything done to put a stop to that on going situation. The campus police, especially Officer Palmer in particular, are known for attempting to ruining college careers of students for minimal things and even attempting to make them get in trouble with the law. Many Morehouse students complain amongst each other about the unclear priorities of Morehouse Police when there are so many greater things to worry about when it comes to student safety which is truly the sole purpose of campus police.

Question
To put it bluntly, Morehouse College is phenomenalQuite BrightEconomics
To put it bluntly, Morehouse College is phenomenal for Business/Economics majors, or anyone looking to break into the corporate world. The networking opportunities are endless, especially if you reach out and find them. This year, JP Morgan hired 14 interns and 7 full time students from the class. While the coursework is easy (so far) the amount of opportunities far outweigh the negatives. If you come here not on scholarship, get off campus as fast as you can, the facilities are garbage, the cafeteria has stupid hours, and this week I took probably 3 or so cold showers... There is a new President, however, and he is making some significant changes, starting with the faculty which have improved, and there are many more good things on the way.

Overall the outlook for Morehouse is bright. Awesome for business majors, also having a rigorous pre-med program, however I can't speak for any of the opportunities there. If you are interested in business/finance and want a school that competes with the Ivy's as far as internships and opportunities go, Morehouse is the school for you.Welcome to the House.
