Valdosta State University

I can't say enough about my entire positive experience at Valdosta State University. The beautiful campus is just the beginning the professors in every department were very knowledgeable and helpful. The vision of true leadership that I learned and how to be a self starter and properly manage organizations in a smaller class size environment is why I am so successful today. I thank VSU everyday for the experience and I am proud to be a VSU Alumni!! If I had the opportunity to return to any university it would no doubt be VSU!

I just finished my 5th and final semester at VSU. After 2 and a half years i am leaving this Oasis in South Georgia for UGA...The campus is awesome, sometimes i'll just look around and feel like i'm at a resort. Meeting people can be difficult , but that goes for any school..just get involved in an organization, believe there are plenty of them. Quite possibly the greatest thing about VSU is the great relationship you can build with a professor. Academics are good, so long as you apply yourself...sure you can pretty much do nothing all semester and make a c/b, but what do you get out of that....I love the 5 bars that we have, there is not a night of the week where i can't walk into any one of those bars see someone i know...If you're looking for a good secondary school in the state of Georgia, because you didn't get into UGA/GT, look no further, VSU is where its at.
