Other reviewer is SO RIGHT about the faculty. They get paid to teach courses but shy away from joining your dissertation committee, so you have to go outside the school to find committee members.
The terminal degree facultyNov 26 2018Education
The terminal degree faculty are adjunct faculty who will not accept a position on your dissertation committee. Beware, as you will not find this out until four years and many dollars into the program.

Benedictine University implies its mission upon religious beliefs and is one of the reasons that I choose the college as my choice to pursue my MPH. However, after working with the admission and financial aid departments I discovered that those departments are based upon a more demonic assertion rather than a religious belief.

Indeed, if the admission and financial aid departments are demons than the classes must be taught by no other thing but Satan. Therefore, I would not attend Benedictine University because it has not affiliated itself with any religious intent and has asserted unwanted hate and confusion within a religious organization.

While my courses were fine, I am surprisedFeb 11 2014Business - Management and Administration
While my courses were fine, I am surprised that the faculty and staff at Benedictine are able to get out of bed on their own and brush their teeth without someone holding their hand and walking through the process. Here is a list of administrative issues I had during my time as a student:

- 3 courses that I met the prereqs for, but was told I did not. All three times, I argued with multiple personnel until finally someone would check my records and realize that I was correct and that I should be able to register for the course in questions. This would go on for days (up to ten) while I impatiently waited and hoped the course would not fill up in the meantime.

- 1098-T was not available on February 10 (legally they are REQUIRED to make it available on January 31) and no one will answer my emails. Further, the registrar's office does not have an extension published, so you can't even call. I need to get my taxes done and have an appointment set up to do so. Get it together, Benedictine.

- When I had questions about my diploma, I got bounced around before someone FINALLY told me it would be mailed in February. How does this take several people to figure out?The level of incompetence at Benedictine is appalling. I actually had a decent experience in terms of academics, but would not recommend the school to anyone because of how stressful it is to accomplish the most basic administrative tasks.

The educational aspects were fine, however the administration was horrifying.

This is the worst school possible. Students are very helpful and friendly, but faculty on the other hand....well that's a whole another story. Would not recommend this school to anybody.
The MBA program atFeb 22 2010Business - Management and Administration
The MBA program at Benedictine University School of Business was a tough experience. However, it was focused and intense. A outstanding preparation for thinking on your feet in the professional world. Very happy I graduated from here.
I love the school and the flexibility ofNov 10 2007Business - Management and Administration
I love the school and the flexibility of the on-line curriculum. The professors are extremely helpful and engaging. The curriculums are challenging but learner focused, therefore you feel compelled to complete the course in order to gain the most benefits. I am a Webflex MBA student and will be completing my MBA in Health Adm. in March 2008. It has been a rewarding yet challenging experience, I would recommend this program for the following reasons:

•Ranked 39 in the Midwest for its Masters Program by the US News and World Report
•Benedictine Univ. has been named a College of Distinction
•The university is a great monetary value for in and out of state students
