Grambling State University

The school system in inconsistent. Each department put and imply it s own rules. No communications exist between offices. You can get your stuff done only by knowing someone from inside, otherwise it s a lot of hassle and stress. Because it s an HBCU the staff knows that the university cannot be closed, as they will always pull out the race argument. The university does not prepare for leadership rather for "cashier level at Wal-Mart". It is more like the cave of the 40 thieves. Don't ever go there. They have too many problems unsolved, and there is no clear intention of solving them soon in the horizon.

2nd Year Female -- Class 2000

I would not tell anyone not to go to the school but just kno what your getting into when you go.
1) Medical Care
This is really bad. If you go to Foster Johnson you stay at Foster Johnson for the entire day. You could be sick sick sick but unless your an athlete or some part of you is broken your sickness comes after that of an athlete. More likely than not you will end up coming back the next day because after spending the entire day with them and you finally get attention what you need done cannot be done.

2) Class Buildings
hahahahaha the buildings are awful! Some doors don't open. the building is run down. Perhaps the only department building that looks decent is the business department. This automatically gives me the feeling that the business area is more or less of greater importance than all other departments.

3) Dorms
There are two dorms Hunter/Robinson these two dorms are centralized on the campus the best location. Yea its great. When i arrived i was absolutely turned off! There was rust everywhere the room was disgusting. The bathroom i could have vomited from it. Some persons had moss growing in their bathroom.

4) Caf
Oh my my the caf. Look you come up here skinny unless u live off campus and cook your gonna get fat. The people that serve in the caf NASTY. One day one of my friend found worms in her food. I beg you people please watch what you eat in the caf.

5) Surrounding area
Closest mall is an hour and something away. Walmart a strip mall etc are close like 10-15mins drive. We do have a bus that isn't very reliable. There is no bus system in LA. Its either you have a car or you don't. If you don't well you just won't be able to get around.

*sigh* these are the major problems but this isn't the end of the list if I were to go on i wouldn't stop tying today lol.
