I completed the entire NP course in theirAug 11 2014Nursing
I completed the entire NP course in their graduate nusring program. At no time was I counseled that my graduation or my success was in jeopardy. Then, four days before graduation, I had no final grades posted so I called the school and was assured there was no problem and that I would be graduating. I explained that I wanted to see my final grades and the secretary told me that the instructor would call me. About four hours later, the instructor sent me an EMAIL to say I was being given an F in the finral course. She then said that I should not make any attempt to contact her as she "had no intention of changing the grade". I was devastated. More than two years has gone by and I still suffer from PTSD, anxiety and depression. I have moved on with my nursing career (with much success) but the lack of professionaliism and ethics in the Nursing faculty at this university is horrific and I owuld not ever suggest anyone attend that university for a nursing education at any level
Question

Some of the most unethical, mean spirited, spiteful faculty teach here. I would not recommend anyone attend this school, especially not the nursing program.

This department is a giant mess! Some professors are good, but most try to intimidate you. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with SELU. The program I entered was nothing like it was advertised to be.
Question
Limited diversity in course selection, but strong qualityJan 09 2004Biology
Limited diversity in course selection, but strong quality in teaching the ones offered. The faculty here are the most involved and humble bunch I'll ever meet in my lifetime. If you're looking for strong faculty and student interactions, this is the place for you. I'm a rather introverted soul, and I was never pressured to interact more than I did, but the opportunity is definitely there...LOTS of freedom and trust here.
