Becker College is a joke.Quite BrightUndecided
Becker College is a joke. I'm only here because it's free, but even with it being FREE I AM STILL TRYING TO ESCAPE. Since the classes are so easy I'm hoping to boost my gpa sky-high before transferring and getting the hell out of this piece-o-shit "college." So far all of the professors I've had have been very nice, but the classes are pretty ridiculous for college level. Most of the time I feel like i'm in 13th grade, especially whenever the straight-out-of-high school freshmen arrive. Oh my God, you can always tell who's new to college because they're bouncing off the walls in the hallways with excitement to be away from Mommy and Daddy. Then they'll spend most nights hanging out at the lame ass bars and clubs in downtown Worcester. Because I'm from this city, I KNOW first-hand how lame the social scene is. A lot of the clubs are so dirty you feel like you'd contract an std from merely sitting on the seats. If you have any self respect, you wouldn't be caught dead in those places. The only people who go to the clubs and bars downtown are fucking townies who will never leave this crappy city and are perfectly content being jacksquatshit, and then college kids who have no clue about how lame this place really is.

A lot of the students here are not very bright at all. In one of my classes, some kid was complaining about one of the in-class assignments. The assignment was to write a brief summary describing yourself so that the teacher could get to know a little bit about who you are...and he couldn't even do THAT! That's exactly the type of students here at Becker College.

There are a couple racist teachers in the nursing program, and it's very obvious because they pick their targets and go after them relentlessly. The student population isn't very diverse, mainly middle-class suburban white kids and a few minorities sprinkled here and there. A lot of people are mainly Early Childhood Education or Nursing majors. And there are tons of girls here. Dudes, don't get excited. Between classes you'll find several of these beasts standing outside smoking and coughing up chunks.Becker's basically an expensive community college. Save your money and go to a less expensive shithole.

Many proffesors are absent minded, and forgetful. Many projects are redundant and offer no educational value. I definatly feel like I am not getting my moneys worth. However some students from other programs such as nursing or animal care say their programs are great. But from personal experience I know that the design programs are crap. Most of the proffesors are really
