I graduated with my Bachelors from TU 10 years earlier. My undergrad years during the 90's were very enjoyable. The school was alot better then. I thought this would be a good choice for a grad school. However, the school has changed alot throughout the years. A new university president has changed the personality of the school. Students are treated as a number. Most professors simply go through their routine without real regard as to whether the students learn or not. The biggest problem of the school is the administration. They treat students like cattle. They treat individual students as nuassances. Fairness in administration has been replaced by office politics. The administration members don't give a damn about the success of the students. As far as career placement, you can almost forget about it. I checked out the career placement office and they referred me to Monster.com. After graduating from this school, you get this feeling of "what was that all about?", "what happened?"
The university isn't offering much to students socially on campus. There are some organization but not enough activities. Social life on campus is usually dull.
I liked that the university has a great library facilities with many computer hardware and software resources. However, most of the library's books are actually outdated. I like that the university had a great fitness center for many different physical activities. The university does have it's own post office, video rental and several dining facilities including a Starbucks. It's a convient place to go to school but it doesn't offer enough academically, professionally, or even socially.
