Positive Negative Neutral Advice
Honestly I have to say that it seemsAverageUndecided
Honestly I have to say that it seems like there is alot of tension at this school. The students that go here are very unfriendly, and clickish. The disability services department is not helpful at all. Lcc is just going downhill, what makes me angry is that they took out alot of the short term certificate programs, for instance medical transcription, office administration, culinary arts etc. Don't go here if your sensitive, have low self-esteem, or don't know what to major in. (They won't help) Plus look for a school that offers good employment services.

Question
I hate this school! I have been toBrightEducation
I hate this school! I have been to two other schools and this one has definitely been the worse. I just feel like there have been so many things from enrollment to registering that have been crappy. This school does not care about the students. For example, I am supposed to graduate from here may 2012 but only if I can get into my courses. I do not get first registration time because I only have 59 credits instead of 60 so of course I would be concerned about getting into the one class I need to get into because only one session is offered and it is only offered in the spring. If I don't get in I will have to wait a year to graduate. So I call them to see if anything can be done and of course they were not helpful, didn't care about my situation and have nothing in place to help with these kinds of situations. They don't even allow you to go the professor to ask to take their class. I just couldn't believe they didn't care one bit that this would screw me over and were not willing to help in anyway. They do NOT care about their students only about the money. This is only one example of why this school sucks. I would highly recommend a different school, avoid this school if at all possible!

Question
I should of walked away from LCC theNot so brightComputer Science
I should of walked away from LCC the first day. The prof of my computer class who was a part time instructor said "You can fix the hard drive by opening the case on the drive" For the non techies reading this. You can't do that, it will destroy the drive. When I complained this guy didn't know what he was talking about. The reply was "So what"LCC pads their degree programs with useless course that other schools do not do. You a student number on a financial aid form to this school and nothing more. Combined with they are cutting core programs that every community college carries. My advice to you is to RUN, not walk away from this school
