This school is unprofessional and very unsupportable.BrightCriminal
This school is unprofessional and very unsupportable. They do not really care one way or another about the students. You can have personal issues and go to a counselor for help or student services and it is like you went to no one. I think they need to close and restaff. From top to the bottom! The financial aid dept is a joke. Lose paperwork NON STOP!!!!! you will submit the same things to them over and over again and if you dont stand there while they enter it those folk will not do it. I can go on and on but it will take forever to talk about this place. Never again will anyone in my family go here again!!!

Question
I have a degree already from WCCC Downriver.Quite BrightNursing
I have a degree already from WCCC Downriver. It was a pleasant experience back in 2012. I have returned to enter the nursing program and the Northwest campus has been an absolute delight. Friendly people, staff is helpful. I cannot say enough good things about that campus. The Downriver campus needs work. It is dirty. Garbage outside the cans all the time and are always full the hallways need to be cleaned. As far as the Detroit campus where the financial aid is posted and reviewed. IT IS A JOKE!!! and shame on whoever runs that facility. The people are either lazy or uneducated with what they need to do. The man who always answers (as I call every week since June 2 to find out why nothing is posted) is just rude and I'm sorry I do not think he knows what he is talking about. The president of this campus really needs to get involved and make things better or give the job to someone who cares, because based on the staff and the knowledge of helping in that department, it's as if no one cares and it shows. It should not take 3 months to have things posted. Baker college had it done in less than 10 days. My daughter is enrolled at Oakland Community College as a new student and it took them about 2 weeks to have her Grants posted and Loans. What a shame the Detroit facility needs a makeover with some genuine people, at least in the financial aid office.
