I liked CBC. Most of the Bible/Theology Profs were very good. I did not take much general ed because I exempted out of most of it. Last year I decided to pursue some more education and applied to seminary and law school. I was surpirsed that I was accepted into law school. Now I am into my second year of law school and am enjoying in. Now its not Harvard mind you but it is an ABA approved school. So no one should complain that they can't do what they want with their CBC degree. It's up to you. I just have to chuckle sometimes when I've talked to parents, and they have shied away from encouraging their kid to go to CBC because it wasn't accredited by any secular organization (now it is- but I don't know how much that matters anyway). These parents feared that the degree wasn't solid enough. But as I said earlier education is 99% what you do and 1% what the prof does anyway.

I just finished my sophmore year, and am now transferring. To be quite honest, the Bible courses are excellent, however, students lack the general foundational knowledge found in a decent Gen. Ed. program. The scriptures are taught thoroughly, but things such as English, History and Science are extremely lacking. I often wonder how many people graduate without even being able to defend their beliefs to an EDUCATED world. As far as the social scene goes, I've made the best friends in the entire world...but the majority of people on campus only hang out with people in their personal circle...like highschool all over again.

My experience at Central Bible College has been a very positive one. I have loved every moment at CBC. I would recommend that anyone thinking about going into the ministry should come to CBC. The teachers are great and are really interested in how the students are doing.
