This is one of the worst colleges youBiology
This is one of the worst colleges you can go to. There's multiple staff that are racist and sexist. Wrestling coaches were both. Softball coaches were homophobic. There was a professor RETIRED because he was GROOMING students. Another professor married his student. Incidents of racism are never investigated even though there are cameras. The theater director is an ass that will threaten to withhold their diploma (can't do anyways) because they got permission to leave a show early. There's not a lot of hard of classes because so many students don't do work or care. There's nothing to do in town. The cops have harassed female students before and try to break up every party they can. There's basically been a death every year I went. Most recently a student killed another right off campus. It?s mentally draining to be there. The only thing to do is drink at the lake. Which the cops will try and break up once it's night anyways. There's one great math teacher who really tries to help everyone learn. There's a few good science teachers. The psychology teachers are great.

The post under this was made by someone in the PR office. I'm a student worker there and I watched them type it in. Even if it were true (it's not), 75% of faculty (this is a mighty specific number, don't you think?) is very poor when compared to good schools that are in the 98% range. Also if 25% of the profs don't have Ph.D.'s, that means you ARE being taught by what are essentially graduate students. Oh yeah, there are no "challenging courses" here and the only reason your prof checks up on you is because most students are so poor, they would flunk out of any other university so theyve to got to make sure their cash cows stay around. Rigor? No. Things to do "all the time"? No. Good choice for anyone but the most country students who need to be handheld in order to make it through this creampuff school? No.

Central Methodist is a well-established school that isEducation
Central Methodist is a well-established school that is known nationally as a institution that delivers a quality education.

Almost all of my teachers (75%+) held their doctorate degree and I had no graduate students teaching classes. Professors regularly check up with you personally in and out of class.

It is a small campus in a small town. There is not a lot of night life, but there was always something to do at just about any time of day. Most students at Central are there for an education, not to party. It is a perfect balance of quiet, small town values and educational rigor.
