This school was the worse experience of my life. Yes, they offer you tuition freeze BUT, if you have a family emergency and have to leave you tuition goes up about $600.00 for every quarter missed. The teachers and advisors do not return you calls and they are very hard to find since they never answer the phones. Then when you go to the office it is only by appointment. If you’re an evening student it’s even worse since you work all day your unable to do all the things day student can do on the campus. The guidance coordinators who help you make your schedule are just stupid. Three times my schedule was messed up. I was given the wrong classes she didn’t even double check to make sure I was able to take it. Once I was removed from a class without being told. I was supposed to take that class for my major and it wasn’t even full. And finally that was my push to leave the school even thought I lost most of my credits in the transfer it was worth leaving such mis-managed school behind me!!!!!

Berkeley is the only college I have ever attended but so far I find it to be a very good school. I enjoy going to class. The professors are very very knowledgeable, most of them have PHD's and have worked in their field for over 20 years. The classes focus on real life experiences and are very good at pointing out excellent examples. I would reccommend this school to anyone looking for a good education and to further their careers.

Berkeley has lots of potential to become a much better school than its current status. What one can learn from such a school is how to do business, and how to make elevating profits. The school, as a business, makes quite a sum of money by limiting the students to many things, knowing that there is a high possibility of a student to go over that given limit, thus, charging the student for more out of his or her pockets/wallets. Smart!!! The faculty i can't say much about for there are too little of them who are really warm-hearted human beings, as for the rest, their attitudes and hearts remain buried in the city's coldness and numbness, while their minds are rooted in the concrete of the city's materials.

Berkeley is a great college to choose if you wish to obtain a head start on your career choice, as opposed to simply only atteding college. I choose Berkeley mainly becuase of its great flexiblity in offering classes. I am able to attend classes while also working full time. This is a great experience for me and I feel much more productive then just attending a college and not working. That to me would not provide a challenge.
