Please, stay away from Berkeley College. The school itself has no recognition at any scale, whether regional or national. I graduated with a 3.8 in May of 2011 with some very great internships at 2 top brokerage powerhouses. I was not hired because of downsizing, however, Berkeley has not helped whatsoever with the process of employment. They guaranteed a 99% job placement! yet, only 2 of the 100+ people I have kept in contact with who graduated in May 2011 are unemployed. This school is a total scam! I am currently working with several other fellow students to try to put an end to "for-profit" colleges like Berkeley College.

Overall this school hasn't been entirely terrible. The financial aid department is unorganized, misleading, unhelpful, and they never tell you anything until its too late. My professors have varied between excellent and terrible. Some classes I have dropped simply because the professor did not meet standards to teach me (not to sound arrogant but they sucked). I've also heard that they do not help you find a job after you graduate which is terrible being that that is the main reason I chose to come to Berkeley.

Berkeley college advises that it has been changing lives for 80 years, this must be true for I have never in my life been aware of the greed and evil that a profit driven school can possess. It has definitely changed my life, to the worst. I have now a conpletely different look on the world, I expect the worst from anyone and anything -- my most valuable learning from this school. It is, after one quarter finished, very obvious that the one and only value of Berkeley is profits, and the management goes to large extents to crave every dime possible from students. The faculty is mixed, and there are both good teachers and horrible teachers, but in general the problem is not the faculty themselves that are the issue, but the fact that BC does not at all care about the standard of the teachings. DO NOT ENTER THIS SCHOOL.
