The staff is very helpful in all departments. The only department that can be a pain in the ass is the Financial Aid and thats not unexpected being that college is a not just a school but a business and they count on making money, right?

The professor are all very helpful. From day one, most of them hand you a syllabus breaking down all the requirements. Everything is up front from the beginning. In the syllabus, there are their office hours and if you can't make their times, they are more than willing to arrange something with you. It is a small school so it is considerate that if you will not go to class, call the teacher and advise them. Unlike a large university, attendance is a big thing for the professors. Otherwise they are very understanding for situations that may arise. Just be open and honest with them from the start. Like most all teachers, they want to pass you, they just want to know that you are a serious student. Oh, and if for any reason you do not like the way a professor teaches, there are surveys at the 1/3rd before the term ends. Enough time to let the school know and enough time to drop the class if you think you're going to fail.The students are definitely friendly. The only complaint I have with them is that if you're a freshman, a transfer or a commuter, it can be hard in the beginning to make friends. Groups tend to be clicky like high school. Not that they are mean but sometimes they won't bother making anymore friends from whom they already know.
