This campus is horrible!! this was my numberBrightCriminal
This campus is horrible!! this was my number 1 school all throughout high school, it was my dream school and when i was accepted I was so excited!! that was before I got here. Two weeks after arriving i was begging my mom to let me transfer!

The dining hall is absolutely vomit inducing, i believe ive only had hot food three times out of the soon to be 8 months since i've been here, and that is not an exaggeration.

the residence halls are absolutely HORRIBLE. my first roommate moved out a week into school because she was homesick, so residence life MADE me have a new roommate! it wasn't my fault my first roommate left! then this new roommate comes in my room, she has a huge beer belly, comes back drunk and high every night, catches 3 STD's, i catch her stealing my clothes and jewelry, plus she threatens to kill me!! and the best part is, residence life didn't do a DAMN thing about it! they catered to her just because she claimed she has mental problems...no shit!! so yeah, residence life director is a complete PRICK. avoid him at all costs...unless youre hitting him with a car or something!

classes are effing pointless, i have taken ONE class for my major and I've been here almost a whole year! I sat down 1 day and figured it out, i'll graduate with 10 cj classes under my belt!! TEN!! the rest is EFFING GEN EDS!! WHAT EMPLOYER IS GOING TO WANT TO HIRE ME WITH ONLY 10 CRIMINAL JUSTICE RELATED CLASSES?!

Ada is absolutely effing ridiculous. this place is the most boring town I have ever been to. and that's saying a lot.

Not to mention anyone who pays $40,000 a year for this shithole needs to have their head examined!! all we pay for is the fucking sororities and fraternities houses and president bakers large black Infiniti!! what effing BS!! who wants to go into such a large amount of debt for such a large piece of shit university?

oh and the people here are complete fucktards. either you have the sorority sisters who have to pay to have friends, and travel in packs of 10 or more, or the effing weirdos all over campus. I've never in my life seen so large of a gathering of people who just look fucking ODD. I've seen so many weird people here, facial deformities, one eye, seen it all. I swear, I've landed somewhere in the effing weirdos convention.

this whole place was THE WORST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE!!
my dream school turned into my nightmare school, and im seriously advising anyone who is thinking about going to ONU to RUN!!

Question
Some things need to be known:Quite BrightComputer Science
Some things need to be known:
-The town ONU resides in is smaller than the University.
-The county is technically dry, so nothing above 60 proof is for sale. Head to Lima.
-There are only 2 places open late to eat (past midnight). -Cops are generally alright, unless you're being an ass, or their in a bad mood from someone else being an ass. Then you're screwed.

-There is one grocery store, and it's has a good selection, but bad hours.
-Nearest shopping place is Lima, about a 20 minute drive up the road.
-Cafeteria is fairly good, and has gotten better with time. Hours are still dumb.
-Parties are annoying to find until you have a strong social network of friends, which isn't hard to acquire.

-P2P, Torrents, and the like do not work on campus. Get all your music beforehand, or start trading CD's.

-The small atmosphere is nice, and helps to keep calm when finals are stressing you out.-The worst winters I've ever experienced were in Ada. And the wind can get really crazy.

Question
On Campus employment isQuite BrightPharmacy
On Campus employment is only for Work Study. This is not fair, to other students who would like to work on campus. Other universities like OSU has both work study and non work study .. why can't ONU.EDU adapt to the same style.
