This school has some of the most knowledgeableQuite BrightAerospace Engineering
This school has some of the most knowledgeable and experianced instructors teaching the courses. I personaly feel that this is an excellent school. I have found that students here who realy apply themselves, and work hard, (Ie study effectivly) do very well. I am satisfied that the low rankings given this school is not accurate and should be a lot higher. I came here expecting to learn as much as possible about aviation maintenance.my expectations have been met. I am about to graduate, with a 4.0 gpa, and perfect attendance. I feel that I have been exceptionaly prepared for the industry. this is a good school.

Question
Spartan is overpriced.Other
Spartan is overpriced. I went through the flight program. It cost me 52000 for the associate program. some of the instructors are there for hours and will take advantage of students. they will not advance them when they should be in order to get more hours out of them. the school as a whole is well under par for what their reputation was. the domestic flight students were pushed aside for international students and were treated like garbage. now that they have lost the chineese agreement they are scrambeling to make it right. or at least put on the facade of making it right. beware of the false promises and mis-information. there are a few good eggs in the spartan basket, it is unfortunate that the rotten ones hide that fact. overall the school needs a total management restructure. i moved on to Purdue and love it. wish i would have done all my training here. i would have been done with the training and had my bachlor by now instead of still working on the bachlor. oh and the credits are not reconized by respectable universitys. there is a reason for this, and a strong warning in this statement. one more thing, the flight school will procure funds from your account, and unless you keep a viligent watch over your account you will be broke and not flying.

overall if you want to spend alot of money and get an almost worthless degree go to spartan. otherwise find a college with a national accreditation and the progranm of your interest. even a community college if you need a fresh start due to lower than average grades in highschool. good luck, and a word to the wise avoid spartan.
