I started TCC in late 2020. I had no idea what to expect in the middle of a pandemic. I didn't know what college was supposed to be like or if any of my class formats were normal. I took a mix of online, zoom, and in person classes. Fully online is challenging, but after I got used to zoom classes I loved them. and I loved the in person classes most of all. I honestly enjoyed every day I went to class. I just liked being in the school. Studying in the study areas. Learning in most of my classes was very very enjoyable. It wasn't like high school where I didn't want to be in class. I love TCC. I hope I get a similar experience at TU next year. I have just graduated this year, 2022. It is the summer right now and as I am preparing to transfer, I can't help but find myself missing TCC. If I could do a full 4 years there, I would in a heartbeat.

“TCC is the absolute worst school you couldBrightBiology
TCC is the absolute worst school you could possibly enroll to. I say enroll, not go to, because multiple friends have been dicked, because the the TCC financial aid office being absolute trash. Losing fafsas, unenrolling students with scholarships, you name it, TCC does it. The teachers either don't know what they're talking about, don't know how to communicate it, or don't know either. The classes are hard because of the teachers, and not the subject matter.

I have several complaints, but what really made me angry was that I couldn't sell my books after finals. Literally the Monday after finals I try to sell my books back, and they tell me they only buy books on finals week and told me to go to some website. I needed those books to study for my final, why would I sell them back during finals week? Also, I had to buy my books online anyway because the bookstore wouldn't sell me books in the first place, saying I needed the use financial aid, but I had planned on paying with my own money. Why is this system so messed up? I will be selling to Chegg, and never using the Southeast campus bookstore again (or attempting to). By the way, there were NO students any where on campus, yet they still had like six people working in the store. Sounds like a waste of time and money. They shouldn't need more than two people. Considering how bad TCC is doing financially and lower enrollment rates, you would think they would cut back on employees for the summer.
