ESU is by far the biggest mistake I could have made by deciding to go there. I originally went to ESU because I was recruited for track and field and I heard they had a good psychology program. First off track was completely rigged and they had there team set up before I even got there. Secondly the school is just a complete and utter shit show. The people here are unmotivated about life, do not care about academics, only care about "rolling on molly and getting wasted", and have the IQ of a door knob. The atmosphere is gloomy and depressing and the students add to the gloominess. DO NOT COME HERE. I am a freshman and I transfered after a semester because it was that bad. I am usually the type of person who gives things a chance, but this school makes it impossible to "see the bright side of things". If you want to be around unmotivated people who host awful parties and do not care about anything but drinking and smoking then GO TO ESU. If you are smarter than a brick wall than do not waste your time with such a low class/low budget school.

This is my first year here and at first when I got accepted last yet I looked it up on this page and saw all of these negative comments, about 90% of them are false. Everyone is super friendly, the party's are awesome which brings me to the point that most of the people here are fuck ups which is good because they throw awesome party's. I wouldn't suggest going for education though, that's what I am but now switching because their program is just unnesseary work and classes. For example I bought an almost 300$ book that I used maybe 5 times for a class that was ALL common sense. There is also not a damn thing to do in this town unless your 21 and want to go to the bar other than that house party's are where its at. The campus is really nice especially the new dorms. The campus is super safe just not the surrounding area if you're by yourself.

Math dept. is unbelievably bad. While there are several excellent Chem professors, there are also several really bad ones, and you can't avoid having to take classes with them. The administration is completely apathetic. They believe the school exists so they can have a job.You can do better than this school. Go somewhere else.
