Coming to East Stroudsburg University was one of the worst choices of my life. I did not transfer because many of my credits wouldn't transfer and because I made a lot of good friends here. ESU has the worst professors I could possibly imagine a university to have. And I have not met anyone that feels differently. They are condescending, unprofessional, rude, unhelpful, disorganized, and just plain too busy for you. Which is ironic considering how much they love preaching about professionalism. The organization of ESU is also a disaster. Forget trying to get anything accomplished with them. They only want your money and once they have it, there is nothing else they care about.

This is a dingy place with like 60 year old buildings. The admin staff is very negative, many profs speak little english. As you can imagine depression is common and prozac flows like water.

“East Stroudsburg University is the absolute worst schoolQuite BrightEconomics
East Stroudsburg University is the absolute worst school I have ever attended. The faculty are very disorganized and show up to class when they want to, and don't give students a heads up if class is canceled. The workers there at enrollment services are the nastiest group of people I have ever encountered. I do not recommend this school because they will give your tuition money to another student and claim it was an accident. This has been done to several students who attend this college (if thats what you want to call it). The only reason there are so many people applying to this school is because there are inexpensive and they accept students with a low GPA. Overall, my experience with this school has been a frustrating and stressful one. Do not waste your time applying to this school because they take about 5 months to actually process your previous transcripts. HEED MY WARNING!! THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
