I think there areQuite BrightReligion/Religious
I think there are pros and cons to every college and BJU is no exception, but the fact is that I can't see going to another college because I'm unable to obey a few rules I don't agree with. If you handle your problems well and work hard, BJU will prove to be very useful.

Question
Bob Jones University helped me by providing goodNursing
Bob Jones University helped me by providing good solid academics. Bob Jones University hurt me by putting a twisted view of God and the Bible as it relates to nursing, especially psychiatric nursing. The nursing program should have let nursing students administer psychotropic drugs, attend group psychiatric sessions. The philosophy of the nursing program at the time was that all psychiatric illness is because of sin and the current pshyciatric treatments provided by the "world" are worthless. When I graduated....guess what....I learned differently. I also experienced psychiatric illness for myself and experienced the help of the "world" including the marvellous medications that help me function normally.

I do not recommend Bob Jones University School of Nursing because:

1. The school of nursing is not NLN accredited nor do they intend to be...this WILL cause a problem when and if you decide to get a Masters degree.

2. The school of nursing has a twisted view of psychiatric medication and the treatment of psychiatric illness.3. The school of nursing does not allow any room for disagreement of the above teachings, if you openly disagree, you are labeled a "troubled christian."

Question
Every day of my life, I have beenPerfomance Arts
Every day of my life, I have been thankful for the well-rounded education I received at BJU. Not only did I gain a good understanding of course content, but also I had reinforced the values taught my in my home while I was growing up. Some values were particularly strengthened, and the commitment to perseverance has helped me immeasurably in the Christian ministry. The excellent training I received in speaking has been a major asset in my career. In particular, the instruction I received in use of the speaking voice has come to my mind nearly every day. I would never recommend any other institution of higher learning.
