Francis Marion University

I was at FMU for two years and last year I transferred to Coastal Carolina. I love it here for many reasons. The campus is safer and the environment, because of the student body, feels like a university. At FMU, everyone is depressed and professors give too much homework just to keep you busy. One of my professors there told me she didn’t have the proper facilities to teach so she has to do things the old way and she knows is not productive. At CCU, I am spending much less time studying to get the same grades and I feel I am learning more and gaining confidence in my self. This is another thing that I resent about FMU. You are very much alone! Professors don’t care about learning or your future and students get depressed because they are scared. Then, they do all the busy work and they think they are learning something when actually they become dumber everyday. This was my experience there but everyone is responsible for his or her decision. I know it is difficult to CCU, but I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
