Positive Negative Neutral Advice
BrightEnglish
How can anyone believe that all of the sudden 11 students decided to submit positive comments on this site? This is not only dumb from the part of FMU’s administration, but also it is insulting to my intelligence. How can this administration be so stupid? But, I know this is exactly how everything works at FMU. I can only say, if these people can teach anything they should just themselves to grow up because what they have demonstrated to me is ridiculous and childish. The entire system will make you doubt your sanity. Is this what I am paying for?

Question
My uncle works at FMU and he toldQuite BrightAccounting
My uncle works at FMU and he told us the president has been very angry about this site. He made everyone’s life miserable because of this site. So, everyone has been trying to find a way to bloc it or shut it down. When all the strategies failed, they decided to form a campaign against it. I heard some professors and students are upset about the university’s approach. One of my professors told me the university’s approach is not dignifying and whoever planned it should be fired. Also some students are meeting in homes trying to find a solution to a crisis. Personally, I am very frustrated and I feel cheated because this school’s reputation is going down quickly and I am not sure it will be here three years from now. Even if it continues to be, no employer would be interested in my resume. As the rumor goes, it is already the case at some businesses and we all know it. I would advise you to away as far as you can. This place is hell and I am sure it has no chance of getting any better.

Question
To accurately describe my experience at Francis MarionBiology
To accurately describe my experience at Francis Marion University, I first would have to say that it is fairly easy to get accepted, but a lot of hard work to graduate from. Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I went to Francis Marion, but now that I look back and hear stories from other students and their experiences at other colleges, I am very happy I attended Francis Marion. In my first year, I remember that the majority of the people I meet were very nice and pleasant. The classes were very easy going and not too difficult in the beginning, but as I progressed through the years, the classes became very challenging; especially as a biology major. My upper level classes required an adequate amount of attention. Saying that studying was a must is an understatement. But it was well worth the effort. The good thing was that the classes weren't too crowded and the professors were almost always available during their office hours. They were very helpful and ready to assist or answer any question, so you were never totally alone or abandoned when it came to something you didn't understand. If the professor saw that you were putting forth the effort, they were willing to go that extra mile to help you. At least I know that is how it was in the Biology Dept. I feel the education I got at Francis Marion can rival any of the top schools in South Carolina or the country for that matter. I know this may seem a bit presumptous, but this is just how I feel. But Francis Marion has more going for it than just the educational benefits. It also has an array of social organizations, clubs, and events to keep students entertained. Almost all of the greek organizations are represented on the campus and are very active in on and off the campus. But of course no campus is perfect and has it's faults. But don't they all? The important thing to remember is to not focus on the negative, but enjoy the positive aspects of campus. And for those that believe campus life was boring and social-less, we have to remember that college is what you make of it. So if you just sit in your room, do nothing, don't join an organization, and make no effort to enjoy campus life; then of course you would think the campus life is boring. No one is going to force you to enjoy your college experience. You as an individual must go out and make it as fun and enjoyable as possible. Overall, I think Francis Marion is a great University and I wouldn't change my decision to go there for the world.
