Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I dont appreciate this school period.AverageNursing
I dont appreciate this school period. I pay way too much to be a target and weeded out of the nursing program and not be able to possibly transfer my credits to surrounding schools. not only that but ive wasted my time and money on a school i thought was focused on God and respect when they cant do that to their own students and pay attention to them first. I am just appalled and if i was able to take this year back i would and never think about milligan college as a choice. Will not recommend this school to any one. They have lost my respect.

Question
This college is a ripoff.AverageNursing
This college is a ripoff. A piece of advice, if you are here simply for the nursing program, look elsewhere. They only want your money and the facilities do not reflect the 32000 dollars a year I have been paying. It is not a liberal college as I was led to believe. They mention the Bible and God as much as they can, even when it isn't relevant. And they conveniently forgot to tell me about the required chapel hours. Basically, if you don't live on campus and aren't rich you are not going to fit in here at all. I just transferred out and am already much happier. They do have a wonderful nursing staff though. They are the only good thing about this school. The faculty and staff are usually kind and willing to help you.

Question
It makes me so sad to see soBrightPhysical Therapy/Exercise Science
It makes me so sad to see so many negative comments. I love Milligan. I just finished freshman year there, and I loved it. The course work is hard, but fair. The people are helpful and nice the campus is beautiful and so well kept. The staff and people there are friendly. And i felt bad giving so many positive ratings, but they were all honest. Perhaps one of the best parts of Milligan is their faculty. Each and everyone of my professors has invested in me as a student, and as a person. They really care. For example, I was having difficulties with my computer during registration, and I emailed my academic adviser and within 20 minutes he called me to help me through step by step in order to fix my problem. In addition, President Greer (the president of the college) is extremely involved in all the campus activities. He eats in the caf, he talks to the students, and he gets to know us as people. The campus life is fun, but it is not a party school. There are rules, but they are reasonable and you are trusted. Frankly I don't think enough people post on this page, because if they did, I promise it would be so much more positive. I recommend Milligan to anyone who is looking for a quality Christian education. I even encourage my sister to come here. It is expensive, but pretty much everyone gets a scholarship of some sort.
