ITT Technical Institute - San Antonio

For the multimedia department, ITT in San Antonio is just plain bad. Why? Well, first of all the books suck. They are made and printed in India not here in the US. So you can imagine how many gramatical typos there are. You would think that this school would buy the books from Adobe or Macromedia, but instead they outsource. Second of all, the software and hardware is way out of date for making print or video media. I have to say it's gotten a little better as of late, but it should be better. We only have one camcorder for the whole school, which by the way we can not check out to do any off campus work. Third, are the instructors. Or should I say lack of instructors. At the time of this review there is only ONE instructor who can teach the classes in our department. I guess I should say that we are even lucky that he is still teaching while we are enrolled since the school treats the instructors like garbage and they drop like flys. One side note: It's true that the courses here are significantly better than those being taught at SAC or NorthWest Vista, but I still feel that I've been ripped off by this school. If you really love the field then I guess I would say go ahead and do it, but be prepared to be dissapointed and just take it like a man.
