I love Schreiner University! Truth be told, IQuite BrightChemistry
I love Schreiner University! Truth be told, I didn't love the school at first. I was using it as a transitional between high school and a bigger university (SU is quite small). By the second semester, I fell in love. My freshman dorm became a family to me- we always did stuff together- went to the river, had a barbecue, volunteered. There are a lot of things to do around campus. Many of my friends went Greek, and they're having a blast- it's not party central, just a brotherhood and a sisterhood. Everyone can find some kind of group to join, you just have to look for one that suits you. The school is very open, there is no bullying, we have many people that don't fit "normal" standards, and everyone is okay with them. Because it's such a small school, most people know each other. The professors are kind, willing to help, and very social. My classes this semester average about 18 people per class (Freshman classes will be slightly larger- 20 to 26). Also, the location couldn't be much better- it's beautiful! You can rent kayaks from the rec center (free!) and take a paddle down the Guadalupe. The town isn't grand, but it's pretty nice for a small(er) town girl. San Antonio's only an hour away.

Question
I love this university.Quite BrightEducation
I love this university. The professors in the education department are helpful, available, have excellent content knowledge, and experience in teaching. The school is small. I didn't come for the extracurricular--but there is a lot to do. I'm getting a great education. Professors know how to teach. I like going to class, and I didn't in high school.

Question
Schreiner U is great school! The faculty areQuite BrightPsychology
Schreiner U is great school! The faculty are nice and actually understand what they're teaching and how to teach it. The biggest down side to this school is that it's in Kerrville, So there really isn't that much to do. Luckily, Austin and San Antonio aren't too far away- So I would definately advise getting a car. This school is also quite pricey-with tuition, dorms, and the meal plan costing about 25,000 a year. However it's very easy to get a scholarship to go here. I love that I don't have that many people in any of my classes because it allows the teachers to actually sit down 1-on-1 with me to answer all of my questions, whereas with a larger school there would be too many students in a class for that to be possible. I love that everybody in the dorm buildings know eachother and that makes it really easy to get along and make new friends. If you want to go to school for an education and are not too concerned about having a social life than this is definately the school for you.
