My undergraduate school helped me to broaden my personal views and exposed me to significant ideas. In adition, I learned more about my own strengths and weaknesses. Hollins was really perfect for me. What I see in students today is that they are too quick to decide on a major, they seem to want their ticket punched, and they learn the material because it's required. I'd like to see a real love of learning for its own sake returned to higher education.
