I plan to transfer out of Rutgers next year, but it has more to do with the fact that I need an experience outside of New Jersey and that fact that I want to attend a college that is slightly smaller. Rutgers has its ups and downs. It also depends on which college within New Brunswick that you attend (Douglass, Livingston, Rutgers College). My big problem with it is that the size of it makes for a lot of senseless bureaucratic crap that I don't want to deal with at the moment. It all depends on what you're looking for, I think. I'm not going to bash Rutgers and tell everyone not to go. I'm reporting my thoughts to basically help everyone else make a decision. I'm currently in the process of trying to decide where to transfer and I know how hard it can be. Good luck to you all. Feel free to email me.
