founded in 1870, is a private, comprehensive university. Programs are
offered through the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering and
Computer Science, Human Development, Nursing, and Visual and Performing Arts;
the Schools of Architecture, Education, Information Studies, Management, and 200-acre
campus, including 15 buildings registered with the National Register of
Historic Places, is located in Syracuse. Syracuse University believes in the paramount importance of scholarship in action. Our great strengths
lie in the interactive nature of many of our programs,
where faculty and students learn, discover, and create through deep
engagement with practitioners and the larger world. Discovery and learning
have no boundaries, physical or otherwise, at Syracuse.
Creative exchanges occur across disciplines, colleges, and communities, as close
as downtown and as far away as China and South
Africa. At Syracuse University, excellence is connected to vital
societal issues, and students and faculty test ideas and discoveries in the world. We want the SU experience to
be transformational, changing our students-and ultimately our world-for the better. Location/Contact SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY 201 TOLLEY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING SYRACUSE, NY 13244--1100
