Howard University is a decent school. The social life is great and there are always things to do on the weekends. The city surrounding Howard University (Washington D.C)is not so great. The school is pretty much in the middle of the ghetto…I think thats the biggest misconception about Howard. People think that when they come here its going to be all good, but you can sometimes feel unsafe walking off campus. The education has been alright so far but the best thing about Howard are the people. It's pretty much like a big family, but the city itself is not safe.
